Social Media Intern
Women Who Drone is looking for a social media assistant who is passionate about online curation and advocating for women in under represented industries.
This role requires working for a brand from home, so is ideal for those who would benefit from the flexibility of working around other responsibilities. This is a role with scope for potential growth in responsibilities, a connection with our start-up early on and sign off on college credits that may be applicable. Internship is unpaid.
Your initial priorities will include:
-Curating user generated content to align with the WWD brand
-Scheduling and content uploading for social media
-Researching social media strategy and industry trends to implement changes for potential growth
-Uploading approved social media images, posts and videos accordingly
You will need to be:
-Able to work from home at least one hour per day
-Able to scan our UGC and select images for posting (after approval) along with creating captions including CTAs, appropriately tagged accounts/users and relevant hashtags
-Familiar with the Instagram API and business account use
-Able to take direction, then learn quickly, work independently and efficiently
-Creative and design-minded, ideally with a passion and interest for women in tech, the creative industry and drones in particular
