DroneSeed exists to mitigate some of the worst effects of climate change by making reforestation scalable. To do this, the company uses heavy-lift drone swarms. This means up to five aircraft operating simultaneously, each carrying a 57lb. (25.8 kg) payload, the only company in the US approved by the FAA to do so. 

The drones dispense a patented enhanced seed vessel containing a proprietary blend of seed and survival-boosting amendments. The operations team ventures to remote forests, often in post-wildfire environments, to safely and efficiently operate the aircraft and execute all phases of the missions.
