UAV Coach launches two scholarships to highlight the benefits of Drones in STEM

Calling all Women Who Drone! UAV Coach has recently launched two scholarships for college and high school students looking to become involved in drone operation for STEM fields. Women remain a minority in the drone industry and we're here to change that! Read on to find out more about each scholarship.

UAV Coach recently launched a scholarship for U.S. college students that will provide $2,000 total, with two awards of $1,000 each.

As technology improves and drones get less and less expensive, we’re seeing a proliferation of different niche applications, from uses in agriculture, mining, surveying, fire fighting, and much, much more. UAV Coach wants to hear from thoughtful college students inspired by drone technology from all walks of life—when they think about the possibilities and the future of the drone industry, what do they imagine?

UAV Coach is also sponsoring a high school scholarship offering free access to Drone Pilot Ground School, and remote test prep course for the FAA’s Part 107 test. There is no limit to the number of applications that will be awarded and the first 150 applicants will have their test fees covered (up to $150).
